PRODUCTION PLANNER/SCHEDULER

 

Technology-oriented designer, manufacturer and marketer of quartz-based frequency control components seeks candidates for Production Control Planner. A 4-year degree in Business Administration or Operations Management or a technical degree is required.  Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in planning/scheduling in an electronics manufacturing environment. Semiconductor manufacturing background with Lean and/or Six Sigma training preferred.  Must have experience with MRP/ERP systems and strong project management, organizational and communication skills.  Must be a U.S. person as defined by import/export regulations.

This is a diverse position, covering the planning, scheduling, releasing and tracking of workflow from Sales and Engineering departments and through the Manufacturing departments.  This position functions as a liaison between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Shipping/Receiving departments.  Responsibilities will include: 

  • Monitor, analyze, report performance to schedule of production activities utilizing information derived from material, production control and manufacturing floor;
  • Work closely with the Sales Department to understand and respond to customer requests;
  • Assist production departments to actively manage the production schedule;
  • Coordinate and manage special projects as required;
  • Follow AS9100D and ITAR standards;

MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER

 

Technology-oriented designer, manufacturer and marketer of quartz-based frequency control components seeks candidates for Manufacturing Process Engineer. Requires, at minimum, BS degree in Engineering plus 3 or more years hands-on experience in Quartz Crystal or Semiconductor industry.  Lean and/or Six Sigma training preferred. Must effectively lead process improvement projects for quality, yield, productivity, efficiency.  Must be able to work with and around chemicals used in semiconductor production processes and lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.  Vision must be adequate to work with ultra-miniature components. Must be a U.S. person as defined by import/export regulatory requirements.

 

This position will support the Lapping/Polishing Department in routine process issues: cutting, lapping, polishing, etching, cleaning and handling of quartz wafers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support department in resolving day-to-day technical and/or manufacturing issues
  • Lead or champion equipment and process improvement projects from proposal through implementation
  • Establish processes and methodologies for the purposes of improved quality, yield, productivity and efficiency
  • Study recommend and justify capital equipment replacements, modification and upgrades
  • Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Follow AS9100D and ITAR standards
